Application
1-Phthoyl chloride has been employed as a derivatization reagent in several applications, including the preparation of 2-ethyl-1-pentyl-3-(1-naphthoyl)indole and the determination of T-2 and HT-2 toxins via dispersive liquid-liquid micro extraction combined with solid-phase extraction. Additionally, it was utilized in the Arndt-Eistert synthesis in the presence of trimethylsilyldiazomethane and 2-ethyl-1-pentyl-3-(1-naphthoyl)indole.
